From time to time you may feel the need to clear the browsing history, cache, or cookies on your iPad 2. To do so follow these steps:

Open Settings


Select Safari in the left pane
Select Clear History in the right pane


Select the Clear button to clear the history.


From here you can clear the following information on the iPad:

Cookie data
Cache (temporary internet files)
History

These steps were derived from the iPad 2 and may be slightly different on other iPad versions.
